The oldest active pilot is Peter Weber Jr (USA, b. 7 November 1919), who aged 95 years and 143 days still regularly flies light aircraft, as verified on 30 March 2015.
Peter has been a pilot for 72 years. He graduated high school in 1936 and married his wife, Ruth, in 1943, when he was a flight cadet. Peter went on to become a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Air Force. He retired from the Air Force in 1970, and since then has flown for recreational purposes. Peter flies several times a month, most recently in a Diamond DA20.
