Alexey A. Abrikosov
( June 25, 1928) is a Russian physicist. He won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 2003 for his pioneering contribution to the Theory of Superconductivity. He shared the award with Vitaly L. Ginzburg of Russia andAnthony J. Leggett of Great Britain.
