13-JUNE-1831 :- Birth Of James Clerk Maxwell , Scottish Scientist .

James Clerk Maxwell
(13 June 1831 – 5 November 1879) Scottish physicist best known for his formulation of Electromagnetic Theory. He is regarded by most modern physicists as the scientist of the 19th century who had the greatest influence on 20th-century physics. His notable achievement was to formulate the Theory of Electromagnetic Radiation . Maxwell's equations for Electromagnetism have been called the "second great unification in physics". Maxwell demonstrated that electric and magnetic fields travel through space as waves moving at the speed of light. He helped to develop the Maxwell–Boltzmann distribution, describing aspects of the kinetic theory of gases also presenting the first durable colour photograph in 1861 .
